Our story.

Growing up on the farm and in the country is something I am blessed to have experienced, which also helped pave the way to my vision. It’s always been my life so it’s easy to forget how wonderful it is to live on such beautiful land, enjoy the fresh air and peace of a rural community.

We were the luckiest kids growing up! Who needs a bicycle when you could get a dirt bike! We learned how to drive the farm truck in the pasture field helping our dad feed the cows (some of us learned better than others)! Now all this sounds super fun but I’m leaving out the blood, sweat and tears in the hay field and early mornings unloading all the wagons lined up from the day before. All of this taught us to solid work ethic and to work hard for whatever you want!

Life along the way hasn’t been easy but all the life lessons, loss of family and progression of our county have made me even more grateful for my new passion…Highland cows! This life of “adulting” is now way more fun now and if you would’ve asked me 4 years ago if I would have cows my answer would’ve been “no way.” I had no idea what was missing from my life and how much joy this experience has brought to me. But it’s not all about me (well normally it is) but we can all see my mom enjoying the farm again after the death of my father. Daily my mom is out brushing the cows, talking to them and giving me an update of their every move. She has a purpose again and regained love for the farm. Who knew this is what we needed! What took me so long!!!

Let’s be honest, I couldn’t do all this alone! My family and friends jumped right in with me, with no hesitation. They love the cows as much as I do. I am blessed with the best people that surround me. No matter how crazy my next idea is, my family and friends are right there to help make it a success. I couldn’t do what I do, nor would I want to, without them.

I’m so excited to see what the next chapter leads too! Thank you to everyone for your support in this journey and adventure! The best is yet to come! I promise you that!
